Interior & exterior finishes

Painting contracting

Interior and exterior painting brings the final palette of a property together. Fortex Vision Technical Services delivers painting contracting in Dubai for residential and commercial spaces, with surface preparation, material selection and access requirements integrated into the scope of individual works or a wider fit-out project.

PROJECT SCOPE

Painting that completes the property

Start with the surface. Define the finish.

Interior walls

Identify the rooms, wall areas and existing finish to be repainted. Colour changes, feature walls and differences between rooms should be recorded in the brief.

Exterior surfaces

Identify the exterior areas, approximate dimensions and visible condition. Access, exposure and building requirements need review before preparation, materials and the painting scope are confirmed.

Ceiling painting

Include ceiling height, access and any visible marks. Staining or repeated discolouration needs its cause reviewed before a painting scope is agreed.

Surface preparation

Share photographs of cracks, peeling paint or uneven areas. The preparation needed depends on the substrate and its condition; cosmetic treatment cannot resolve an underlying defect.

Finish selection

Discuss colour references and preferred sheen alongside room use and cleaning needs. Product and finish choices belong in the agreed scope so expectations are clear.

FROM REQUIREMENT TO AGREED WORKS

A clear basis
for delivery.

Connect the requirements, site conditions and practical arrangements for the work.

01

Review existing surfaces

The brief establishes what is being painted and flags areas requiring closer assessment. Any unresolved surface issue is separated from the decorative finish.

02

Agree preparation and finish

Confirm the included surfaces, preparation approach, colour and finish specification. Access and protection requirements are considered before the quotation scope is finalised.

03

Check the agreed result

Review painted areas against the agreed scope, including edges, consistency and any exclusions documented during assessment.

SCOPE & PRACTICAL CONSIDERATIONS

Project questions,
clearly addressed.

Can I request painting for one room?

Yes. State which room and whether walls, ceilings or both are included. Scope is confirmed after review.

Should I send a colour name or a photograph?

Send both if available. A photograph is a useful reference, while an exact product or colour code helps define the intended finish. Screen colours can differ from the final appearance.

Can a damp mark simply be painted over?

Share a photograph and explain whether the mark returns. Its cause needs review before the decorative work is agreed; painting alone does not address recurring moisture.

What changes the quotation scope?

Area, surface condition, ceiling height, colour changes, finish specification and access all matter. Describe these details rather than relying only on a room count.
